Did not value non EE or CE people. As a mechanical I was always slammed with work but I was never recognized for my achievements, and all the recognition went to the folks who are electrical and computer engineers.

Compensation is at midpoint or higher generally, but doesn't compete with the top tier tech companies

Cons

Fractured, bro-y culture. Leadership doesn't have the spine to manage out low performers and most decisions are made based on personal relationships or because people are afraid to confront others, rather than merit. People can do their job for months and be allowed to stay, while others are fired for disagreeing with a senior leader.

-The pay and benefits are pretty decent, I would say above average. -Really good equipment they just hand out. Need a $400 docking station? There ya go no questions asked. -Company events aren't bad. -Some good people

Cons

-IT department is messy and probably understaffed. -Lack of transparency. -CEO is kind of a clown. He had a little "mic fuzz" when walking around at our all-hands and threw a fit at the team which set up the event. -Management is hit or miss. -Sucks if you have to drive. Too many cars in downtown Austin and not enough infrastructure.
