Great projects, but limited resources and poor leadership.
Pros
Customer devices that we work on consist of cutting-edge technologies that very few people have the privilege of being exposed to in their careers. The work is interesting, and there is an abundance of it. Project team members are great with no shortage of knowledge to share.
Cons
Turnover is very high. Leadership expects a lot with very little resources, places blame on others for their own short sightedness, and expects no-questions-asked execution of unrealistic timelines. Being publicly yelled at is a risk. There is no reward for doing jobs well. The goal seems to be how little you can do to get the job done, but not what you need in order to do the job well. Benefits and raises aren’t very competitive. All of these company attributes negatively affect the workplace culture.
