extra 4 hours of pay if you work 3 12-hour shifts on weekends (work 36 hours and get paid for 40) during their mandatory overtime period

Cons

-management seems to favor certain people -expected to work at your FULL speed and sometimes beyond your full speed -all the company cares about is meeting their numbers and target goal production -I've heard a lot of things about how things changes for the worse when Metrigraphics (the company's former name) changed to Cirtec

Pros

You seriously get to work on the coolest stuff out there. I’m talking brain implants, neurostimulators, heart pumps, brain to computer interface, etc. Big companies, small companies, startups, universities, you name it. I really don’t know where else an engineer could work that would provide this much experience and exposure to complex medical devices.

Cons

Fast paced. Like really really fast paced. Things are always moving and changing and you have to be ready to shift gears quickly. Pay and benefits are just ok.

Everyone works hard, I mean really hard, but will never hesitate to take a moment to help their IT guy push a heavy printer through a doorway. I think that says a lot about the atmosphere.

Cons

The vending machine doesn't always have macaroni salad.
