Pros

Working at Citadel Securities gives you the opportunity to wear lots of hats and have responsibilities from the moment you walk through the door. It's amazing being part of a team and always being held accountable for things that directly contribute to the business as a whole. With that responsibility and accountability, you are expected to put in 100% every day, and it especially makes you work harder knowing you are making a true difference. Everyday, you work alongside the most brilliant minds. The best part is, they're also willing to teach you about a certain system or product, rather than leaving you wondering. You will constantly be challenged from a learning perspective, but also a work ethic perspective, but everyday you gain more knowledge, you get smarter both intellectually, and in terms of efficiency.

Cons

I can honestly say that I can't think of any cons... you work really hard, but it's rewarded. As long as you thrive in an environment like that, then you'll see it as a "pro."

Pros

The firm has a strong sense of culture, with integrity and meritocracy at its core. There is a strong sense of work ethic, drive, and mission to make something the best it can be - not only in financial services, but in any sector. Being surrounded by this culture has helped me push myself farther and learn everyday - I love it. Leadership has clearly made not only hiring the best talent, but also supporting that talent with the best resources and technology a top priority.

Cons

It's difficult to identify solid cons. As with any job, there are good days and bad days. But, compared to other jobs I've had, the bad days really don't seem that bad when you're surrounded by other individuals all highly motivated to achieve a common goal.
