Actually Citco is an excellent training ground for new hires – exposing them to global clients, diverse financial instruments, and opportunities for growth and development throughout their career. We have a robust Talent Review process and regular promotions whereby we identify our talented and high performing staff and move them into roles of increasing responsibility. Additionally our Training and Development group is busy delivering a variety of technical and soft skill training programs throughout the year. Appreciate the feedback.

It’s disappointing to read this review but appreciate your taking the time to provide feedback. The financial services industry often requires periodic overtime and Citco is no exception - having to meet demanding daily, weekly and monthly client deliverables which requires good manager oversight to ensure our SLA’s are met. However on balance, Citco has a number of policies and practices to ensure staff has a generous amount of time off to recharge and meet their personal commitments.

Pros

HR very fair, open and try to ensure all new employees are comfortable in their new position. Lots of parking for those that drive.

Cons

Managers are very much aimed at taking care of those that are in the right 'click'. They are not open minded and in some cases not knowledgeable about their role. Long hours for certain teams, with no apparent reason except mismanagement.

We appreciate your comments, though are sorry to hear that you feel you didn’t feel that you are being managed effectively and trust this is an isolated incident. As a business, Citco stresses the importance of employee contributions – it’s how we develop and innovate! If you have a good idea for something that can be done better then please bring it forward – if your idea has value it will be considered seriously.
