Dear Former Colleague - appreciate you taking the time to provide some feedback both positive and constructive. Indeed every job has its tedious aspects - thank goodness most of the work at Citco is interesting, diverse and challenging. In regards to career plans - there are some pretty distinct career paths in our functions. However I would also note that our performance management process includes a career development section which we always encourage staff to complete with their manager. If you want to develop at Citco and are ambitious - you can join the hundreds of employees who have been promoted over the years and have grown by showing your managers that you are committed and are willing to do the work to develop your skills and supervisory capabilities. Anyone can make an appointment with their manager to start such a discussion.
