Pros

Ability to grow fast in the past. Although, it is currently hard to find Pros about Citibank. Visit their branches to grt honest feedback.

Cons

Senior management are confused, no sense of the company direction. Management don't care for employees but just the sales and service numbers. Super short staff!!! Stay away 😠😠😠

Pros

Decent pay for the job. If you work for the right manager you can advance annually, enjoy your job, and be rewarded for your hard work with praise and (small) annual bonuses.

Cons

Working for the wrong manager or team lead can make this a dead end job. No matter how much good work you produce or knowledge of products you have, if you're not part of the right clique it won't matter. Your accomplishments will be viewed as their accomplishments and you will watch others advance at twice your pace.

Poor attitude towards employees

Pros

Voluntary time off and generous pto. It was nice not having to ask to use it. (You will need it. See below)

Cons

It’s glorified customer service, a little bit of a misleading job description. They try to fluff it up and make it sound like it’s more than it is. You’ll be taking back to back calls and have to deal with disrespectful customers and managers. Toxic isn’t even the word. This place runs on fear and control. Management micromanages you like it’s their full-time hobby. Want to use the bathroom? You’re expected to IM them every single time—and they’ll still message you if you're not back in five minutes like you’re taking a vacation in there. No room for growth unless you’re there for 50 years, they say after a year you can get promoted but they have unrealistic and harsh metrics. If you’re missing one you’re not going anywhere, lateral moves are possible but competitive. Don’t waste your time unless you’re starting out in a better role perhaps.
