      Pros

      Bankers perks (holidays, 1st shift, benefits package) are all wonderful contributions to the employees, as is the idea that citizens portrays that they geninely care for not only their customers, but their colleagues, communities and shareholders

      Cons

      Poor management structure creates a hostile work environment in which most employees can find themselves dreading their next shift and praying for their day off.

      Pros

      The customers are the best part of the job. Working one on one with the people and really helping them out was the highlight of the job.

      Cons

      No matter how much they say it's about the customer, it's really about the sales. If you don't meet your (unrealistic) goals for more than two quarters, you are fired. It doesn't matter if the customers love you and you provide the best customer service out there; not enough sales = no job. It doesn't even matter if it's something the customer wants or needs, like a savings account or another credit card, just sell, sell, sell!

      Dated technology, staffing issues, high expectations without necessary training and guidance, a lot of time spent cold calling people who have already heard your speech.
