Pros

Citrin Cooperman as a whole, is a wonderful firm...top notch leaders that do care and provide an excellent learning environment. However, beware of office locations that were not an original location (i.e. Providence) as these were NOT individuals hired by Citrin but formally a smaller local firm constantly losing top employees and clients that Citrin came in and bought.

Cons

Highly unprofessional. No strong leaders. Management in this office does not care about their employees nor do they provide any strong learning opportunities as management themselves have NO clue as to what they are doing.

Pros

Benefits are fine Nice office location

Cons

Too much favoritism towards office management personnel. Some office management personnel are unprofessional, immature and backstabbing. Some office management personnel has lied about really good employees and has caused them to lose their jobs. Some office management personnel uses profanity....even with partners. Some office management personnel is held to a totally different set of standards than the professional staff (maybe because they lack proper education and training) Lets be honest, most people can be in office management personnel but to do tax returns and audits it requires skill and education, Maybe office management personnel should be better educated and skilled so they know how to interact properly with the professional staff instead of being so intimidated by the professional staff. Some office management personnel makes it a point to tell outside management every great thing they have accomplished while throwing the entire professional staff under the bus. The professional staff is not aloud to talk with each other. If partners see you talking you are reprimanded. What kind of work culture is this???? Most upper management is all about the money. Most upper management in this office are all close to retirement so they are only looking out for themselves. Don't count on them to have your back. This office along with the people who run it, is such a disappointment.
