Pros
The Office Manager is the most loyal, kind managers you could ask for. If you have her behind you, you can't lose working here. She will never steer you in the wrong direction and do anything to make you comfortable. Admin/staff are not harassed . As long as you are doing your work and you're on time. No one bothers you. You are able to make up time for personal needs rather then lose out and not get paid, this is a great perk especially for parents who need to take personal time. the owners of the company mostly know all of their employees. You rarely see that in big firms. You're lucky to even meet the owner of a big firm. They are very understanding when it comes to employee needs not only at work but personal problems as well. The office administrator is also one of the greatest people to work for and there are tons of great people here to work with. Partners are kind and treat you as an equal. If you are not happy with where you are or the position you got hired in your manager or HR will usually find somewhere to place you so that your career goal is achieved. A HUGE PERK is if you leave on a good note and you feel like you weren't happy with where you went 99 percent of the time they take you back and 99 percent of the time the people who left DO come back which goes to shows the type of firm this is. Accountants can be hard to work for being they are under a lot of stress with deadlines but it's something that comes with the job like anywhere else. Joel Cooperman and Niles Citrin are two of the nicest men you'll meet and will do anything to give their staff a comfortable working environment.
Cons
The maternity leave could be better but that's probably what half the U.S. is saying right now.
