Exciting Job!

Pros

It's a fast paced but fun job. The shifts go by fast. Jesse has helped me tremendously in every situation that has come up. He continues to care about all of his staff individually. You don't get that from a manager very often!

Cons

Sometimes the lack of communication from the Honda employees. It seems policy always changes and we are left in the dark.

Pros

There are very little pros that come with working for citrin besides the co workers / fellow team members.

Cons

Working with citrin for over a year really opened my eyes to how a company should not be ran. The managers are very unorganized. We would always run out of supplies and a manager would very rarely show up to the shifts. People get written up for very stupid reasons. I have been written up for being late to a shift with another team member because I had to take an exam at Ohio state, I’ve also been written up for being late to a shift due to a serious doctors appointments due to my medical conditions and everytime someone try’s to explain anything to a manager they ignore it and don’t take it into consideration with any situation. Emails are very rarely responded to and the managers treat us like we are much lesser than them. I have been forced to be scheduled longer than a regular shift because nobody can come in for a pm shift. They also changed the way we take tips it is not split evenly anymore like it used to and there are just too many strict changes being made for a valet company and that’s why members keep quiting and the company is offering hundreds of dollars for referrals. Vacation time and requesting off also doesn’t work. If you want to work here don’t expect to request off for any reason because you will either get written up or fired. I have also been scheduled to work 2 days after a maijor surgery that management knew about a week in advance. During harsh winters I have also been written up for wearing a sweatshirt.

Hi- Thanks for the feedback. I sincerely apologize that you were unhappy with your experience with us. As someone who valeted almost every night the first 4 years that we were in business, I can assure you that we put a significant amount of energy into making sure our team is supported. We certainly appreciate your time with us and am sorry we couldn't work things out. If you would like to chat sometime, feel free to email me directly. Thanks, Joel@citrin.co
