Pros

Light work load. Very safety orientated. Nice people to work with.

Cons

Lower pay than private counterparts. Upper management slowly taking more and more benefits away from employees.

Pros

After two weeks you won't enjoy your work. You will soon find out that everything about interview was just lie.

Cons

Worst work place to ever work for. Turn around is higher. The salary and benefits are not upto standards of living.

Pros

The view from City Hall is beautiful.

Cons

It is staffed by employees who are related to each other. It is very clique. If you are not accepted into the clique they will make your life miserable. As they like to promote from within, employees are promoted above their ability and knowledge. It is also very political at City Hall. Human Resources will not help you, they are on management's side. There are many "career opportunities" at Naperville, as employees have leaving quickly.
