Hardworking people that aren't in management positions. Employees are dedicated and some will go above and beyond what they do.

Cons

Salary is very low compared to other cities. Employees are doing more than two jobs due to not hiring more people.

Pros

Lots of new toys and equipment to use throughout all of the city's departments. It seems as if money is no issue for the right cause.

Cons

The city is one of the lowest paying cities in Illinois and now with one of the worst time off policies around, it's no wonder the turnover rate here is so high.
