Uncharacteristically thoughtful startup
Pros
This is the most intentional, thoughtful team I've worked with. So many positives. - Nobody lets ego get in the way of decision-making. - Really exciting product - with instant feedback from contractors who use our internal software. - Due to the nature of the email interaction with Clara, there's very little customer-facing downtime or buggy interfaces to keep you awake at night. - Nothing like a stereotypical "startup bro" culture. More interest in art, politics, and learning than startup tchotchke, "getting eyeballs", or droning Silicon Valley buzzwords. - Working on new, interesting problems around the future of information work.
Cons
- Startup rollercoaster with usual ups + downs. - Sometimes things are too abstracted. - Could be more agile sometimes.
