Pros

Good people. Pay is higher than average to compensate for the amount of work expected. Nice office. Four weeks vacation after 5 years.

Cons

Technology is oversold and there are a lot of over commitments made to clients. No process in place to do proper resource planning. Everyone is overworked.

Pros

Good benefits, generous Paid time off, flexible work schedule, open to the need for occasional need for remote work. Salary is competitive. Office environment is a combination of offices and cubicles, two kitchens, complimentary coffee and tea. Teams supporting different clients work well together (see note in Cons section). Company sponsored events (SportsFest, Twice a year Town Hall, and Community charity events). Wonderful, dedicated and hard-working employees. Great product.

Cons

Growing small company going through extreme growing pains. Standardization / consolidation of internal processes is in it's infancy stages with a lot of struggle and extreme personnel turnover / change. Of course there is resistance to change and for those who don't fall in line, the consequences are typically met with employment termination. Separate Client Delivery Teams support different clients, however, Project Management, Business Analyst, Development, Database, Network Services and Quality Assurance are a 'shared' resource aligned in 'Centers of Excellence' (COEs); primary resources are aligned to clients. This is a source of frustration for many since there is high unknown for these resources until late in process, so it is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to project / estimate product delivery to the client. Several Client Teams are in a Dedicated Hours resource model and the personnel assigned to these clients are a dedicated resource. Again, these COEs are just starting and have been met with a lot of resistance from those that have been there for an extended amount of time. The Client Delivery teams work very well together and are extremely supportive of each other. However, that being said, that isn't always viewed the same way from the Client Executive level. Client Executive condescending attitude is a significant detractor to the Company's progress, unless of course you are in their 'inner circle'. The company is growing, but has not kept up with the pace of the personnel needed to support the business and has not (or doesn't seem to be) supporting the current staff in moving the company's internal processes to the next level. Yes the job gets done, but there is a lot of room for improvement. The unfortunate result is massive personnel turnover and degradation of employee morale. The office facilities are nice, but they are rapidly outgrowing the space.
