Pros

Excellent content though outdated. Brand still has strong impression on end users. Many competition copied and inspired from our flagship platforms and now they are tough competition.

Cons

Individual contributors are treated as personal assistant or subordinate than a valuable contributor for business. The most organized thing is incompetency misleading decision maker with survival strategy of under projection, reduced target and ultimately blaming transition for missing numbers. Missing number is reasonably accepted for favorites. Replacement comes from irrelevant backgrounds-creating history of lowest performance. Annual hike has almost no relation with actual performance. You are likely to get poor hike with undocumented explanation as it’s a global decision. Old colleagues gets steep growth and perks in the name of women empowerment. Politics finishes off talent and performance.

Pros

Legacy branding of products and services.

Cons

The management culture equates to no one making any tough decisions. Everyone is milking the legacy branding and innovation is hard to come by. Competitors have surpassed them by leaps and bounds.

Two years in, company still struggling to find direction

Pros

Some autonomy (depends on the position), some ability to work from home (depends on role and length of employment)

Cons

Low pay, lack of clear direction, zero opportunity for professional advancement. Clarivate leadership has carried over many of the bad habits and prejudices that plagued Thomson Reuters, and has implemented almost none of the "start-up" mentality and changes that were promised during the divestment. Lots of talented, dynamic people have left the company in the last two years. Openings are filled by new hires from outside, and long-time loyal employees are stuck in the same old jobs with no change of advancing or growing.
