Pros

Nice work environment at the London office. Decent salary and great benefits. Being present in so many countries you end up dealing internally with many different cultures!

Cons

Career progression can be hard. Sometimes internal communication is hard but things are improving. It’s a very “young” company (independently) so there have been a lot of changes recently.

Work Hard - Don't get rewarded

Pros

Flexible Working (on some teams) Benefits

Cons

It's harder and harder to get flexible working. This is a place where you don't get rewarded for working hard or being talented. You mostly get taken advantage of. They promise you rewards and then don't follow up. Morale is quite low and environment toxic. Many talented people have left. Budgets slashed so you can't get anything done.

Pros

PE ownership is making targeted investments in areas that have lacked investment for over a decade.

Cons

TR provided opportunities for professional and career development which now no longer exist with lack of new employee on-boarding, business unit induction, and such a focus on sales results win a daily basis that you do literally have to hit the ground running. The company is largely competing in sectors where its products no longer provide competitive advantage, including the most profitable, and where new disruptive companies and technologies will completely change the landscape within the next 3 - 5 years. The executive team has been completely overhauled and is bringing back ideas from the former glories of some of its constituent businesses.. it remains to be seen whether this will actually pay off. The commercial organisation is going through a greta deal of change with parts of sales and marketing going through never-ending changing and becoming ever more complex, creating especially tough working environments in this part of the business. There has been a significant loss of talented personnel and not the same calibre of new blood. The lack of experience with a relatively large business (in comparison to others in its portfolio) shows.. as does the rather unhealthy cronyism.
