The physics department is really small. Everyone knows each other and it is really fun to work, since your professors are very easy going, and you have most of the control in your research.the research topics are a lot.

Cons

There are very few/ none cons of working at Clark. The salary is adequate.

Pros

I was working on a side-project of a professor. My manager was incredibly understanding of my position at the time-- college graduate who was having trouble finding work and needed to build his resume. She let me take on just about any responsibility or aspect of the project that I felt would be beneficial to my future work search. I eventually decided to attend graduate school, and I fully believe her recommendation was one of the key reasons I was accepted.

Cons

None. This was a rather informal relationship to start, but grew and developed steadily as we mutually found a good role for me in the project.
