Cons
People and culture eviscerated from the inside out by GoFundMe. Laid people off right before the holidays the past three years in a row and regularly cuts roles quietly + without warning throughout the year. No longer cares about customers, only how much money can be made off of them. No longer cares about workers, sees them as highly replaceable. Prefer to hire externally instead of promoting and developing internally. Primary pursuit is profitability and revenue generation. Sadly, all opposites of what the company used to be: mission and values-driven, people and culture first, customer-centric, and heavily invested in career development and career mobility.
