      Great Place to Start a Career

      Pros

      Some really smart people that love technology and are great resources to learn from. The engineering side uses all the latest technologies and is always open to pivoting and using tools that might better fit the problem at hand. Lots of stuff to do I started working on tickets and projects within 2 weeks of joining. Aside from engineering everyone is friends here and the company makes an active effort to host events like happy hour.

      Cons

      There's a lot of hiring going on which is a good thing, but you can get lost within all the new people joining. Compared to other tech companies there are no real benefits to joining Clear Street except for lunch, but I'm sure as the company grows this will change

      Pros

      It's a startup that is still in the growing phase. As the operations team continues to grow and establish processes and systems, there's a real opportunity to get things done in a way that's consistent with your vision. The culture is such that everyone's opinion is valued and resources are provided as needed

      Cons

      Established systems and procedures you are used to seeing at others shops don't exist in the same way here, but the goal is the build them fast and better.

      - Modern tech, and good engineering culture willing to adopt new tools - Founders are very knowledge in the field, and have a clear (pun intended) vision for the future - Collaborative culture that allows for career growth, individual learning, and tolerant of mistakes - A lot of growth, with many projects coming up in the pipeline -

      Cons

      - Processes not fully defined, as typical for a company at this stage - Sometimes interface with legacy financial systems
