      Pros

      - work with some of the best minds to bridge the gap of finance and tech - best idea often wins, challenge "this is how it has always been done" mentality - carve out a career path - gain visibility to different parts of the business and leaders of different teams

      - you must be a self starter, invest in yourself - not every situation has a playbook, need to be able to navigate unchartered waters

      Enormous Opportunity Lies Ahead for the Daring

      Pros

      The business has a very compelling product in a highly fragmented industry. Lots of opportunity to grow the firm which means a lot of opportunity for people to make their careers here. Very smart, motivated people across the board. Complicated technology problems to solve with a modern approach and virtually no tech debt.

      Cons

      Typical growth company story. Lots of opportunities and growth pathways and naturally not everyone prioritizes the same possibilities in the same way. Sometimes the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. If you work here, you have to be a person who can tolerate ambiguity and take ownership to identify problems and solve them. Nobody is stopping anyone from doing the right thing here.

      - Engineering driven culture with a lot of opportunities to learn and improve. - No recurring weekly meetings and very light in meetings in general. You're given a lot of time to focus. - The tech stack and tooling is great. Good balance of modernity and practicality. - Technical leadership and a strong product focus. - Competitive comp within the tech industry.

      Cons

      - Although there is no pressure to work overtime, seeing activities from motivated colleagues way after hours may generate some peer pressure. - Diversity may be a bit lacking, especially in engineering.
