You don’t have to live like this!!! ClearView is known across the industry as having a sweatshop-culture. It’s quite dreadful. They’re able to sustain it by annually recruiting an army of analysts fresh out of undergrad who don’t know better and don’t have enough experience to know that their work lives don’t have to be this way. My daily schedule was typically: work 8:30-6, take 6-8 off to do my daily tasks outside of work, and then get back to work again from 8-1am. Some projects weren’t as bad, so I’d only work until 10, though this was the exception rather than the rule. If you’d like to live by this sort of schedule, consider a career in investment banking; you’d get paid twice as much for similar hours. There are many other good consulting firms and Life sciences companies that don’t consume your soul.
