Boutique consulting company which is tight-knit, both because of the people and because we work in the office as opposed to a 4-day-travel model.

Cons

As a young and growing company, we are constantly working out kinks as they arise. Lacks a universal reputation (comparing to McKinsey or BCG for example) and lacks a vast/accomplished alumni network, which may change in future years if employees move into industry, graduate education, and other jobs.

Exceptional scientific depth and a team of highly intelligent professionals. Juniors are pleasant and collaborative. The firm offers one of the highest salaries outside MBB—not out of generosity, but necessity, as retention would otherwise be impossible

Cons

A toxic culture where trust is nonexistent, gossip runs rampant, and confidentiality is a myth. Performance evaluations are arbitrary and skewed—favorites face no accountability while others struggle under constantly shifting expectations. Senior leaders prioritize profit over principles, undermining each other to get ahead. There’s no long-term vision, just a relentless focus on the next transaction. Any talk of ‘growth ambitions’ is nothing more than a tick-box exercise to appease the PE firm. Expect to sacrifice your time, your well-being, and even your holidays—to fund someone else's yacht.
