Pros

Clearsight will give you as much responsibility as you care to take on. Junior bankers are looped into every part of a deal, including pitches, buyer calls, and negotiations. Juniors are invited to industry networking events (NVTC, M&A Awards, Culture Awards). Once you develop enough trust, you'll be sent to represent the firm at management meetings and in-person diligence sessions. The firm invests time and money in its people (e.g. offsites where coaches teach skills like networking, business development, and executive presence). If you're engaged, your compensation will be very good, and you'll become an expert on the professional services / B2B software industries. Senior bankers who invest time to provide career advice. Willing to invest in tech / tools that make completing tasks more efficient.

Cons

Long hours, typical in banking. Your experience will be focused on a specific niche (M&A for middle market services / tech).
