Pros

The majority of the buildings are connected at the ground floor or by skyways. Helpful bc you will most likely be walking far to get to wherever you have to park.

Cons

Lots of concern about physical wellness of employees, but none at all for mental/emotional well-being. Constant turnover causes excess work, long hours, very stressful environments. Vindictive micro managers in leadership positions who only care about making themselves look good. People working here in general are unfriendly, would sooner let doors slam in your face or run you over in a parking garage if you are in their path. I've never encountered anything like it.

Pros

Working for one of the largest health organizations in the nation with cutting edge technology and resources.

Cons

Uncomfortable work environments. I was terminated from my employment after 90 days (still training) I was put on a plan to make changes in work performance. The changes were made successfully but with no labor union or employee protection it's to managements discretion what they so choose. I was basically terminated from my employment for being a new employee on the job. Why hire someone you weren't willing to train ? The clinic is too big of an organization for their own good. So big they overlook those who matter most, their employees. The best employees are the best caregivers unfortunately politics and who they "like" takes precedent

Pros

Health Benefits, PTO when you can use them.

Cons

We had to answer the phones with "Can I schedule you an appointment for today?" when we darn well KNEW that we could not get them an appointment "today". This was never explained in any ad, billboard or letter to patients. We would get screamed at when we'd say "sorry, I don't have an appointment until 3 months from now". Coworkers would refuse to take calls, which would go back into rotation and go to the next agent. A handful of agents would be doing the work of a full call center. Non-stop calls all day long. Sometimes there would be 50-60 calls holding. Majority of people went home at 5pm; however, calls would flood in during that time. Vacation request would never get approved or go into a "black hole". I was refused vacation time to extend my time away from work and the state to attend a FUNERAL. I had to bring this issue up to my boss's boss to get approval. Was told that holidays would be rotated out, only to be told "well if your work day falls on a holiday, then you work it". Not aligned with the rest of CCF, it felt like I was working for a company that works FOR CCF.
