Benefits great, Organization not so much

The benefits, night differential is decent, and coworkers

Cons

The organization is only focused on metric driven outcomes and never their employees (atleast from management). PTO also wasn’t allowed to be taken unless it was your week for vacation — to which management said it would be unfair to give people isolated PTO days.

usually six patients on a medical surgical floor and very busy

They give you a paycheck. There are opportunities to advance or change jobs.

Cons

They don’t pay well for anyone other than nurses and doctors. HR is not there for employees, they work to avoid lawsuits.
