Pros

Reasonably secure work, health care is still growing, location is centric to local communities, brand name adds prestige to any resume'.

Cons

Very insular, politics play a more important role than merit. Connections are more strongly measured than skillset, and communication is virtually non-existent from management to supervisory staff.

Pros

It looks good to have the clinic on your resume. It pays better than most for jobs that don't require education. They don't ask a lot out of you. Tons of people easily skate by doing next to nothing. Great benefits and lots of paid time off.

Cons

Upper management is incompetent more often than not. They put doctors in charge of everything, but guess what, doctors aren't good at everything! Shocker!!! If you are a low level employee they make sure to remind you of that everyday by treating you accordingly. Everyday I worked there I heard people talk about getting out. It all just depends on what department you are in.
