Pros

PRN, make your own schedule and pick up 4hr-16hr shifts, good premium pay after certain amount of hours per pay period, good training, organized, great opportunity for nursing students.

Cons

PRN meant float pool so assigned random unit each shift and sometimes would be rotated at each 4 hr interval. Some shifts you could work your whole shift in one unit, other times you could be re-assigned during a shift. No PTO or benefits because PRN
