Exciting Work, Low Retention

Pros

Exciting and challenging work, opportunity to work with all manner of devices and design one-of-a-kind software solutions. Several truly passionate people who are a pleasure to work with.

Cons

Pay has not kept up with the market rate. Low performers continue to be carried along by their peers, getting moved to new teams for "fresh starts" when the writing is already on the wall (and in some cases has been on the wall for years).

Historically, Clever Devices has had a very low attrition rate which we attribute to the passion and rewarding work you referred to. 2022 has been a challenge for many companies. And while our attrition rate has been higher in 2022 than in past years, we are still well below the average attrition rate for the tech sector.
