Pros

It's immediately obvious to anyone who's worked at CSA that this place is rife with opportunity. They grew a substantial amount in the couple of years I spent working there, and we were constantly engaged in new projects. For me personally, I loved that. Virtually everyone there is likable, respectful, and encouraging. And the company isn’t so large that the management is out of reach. Some people here have commented on the “familial” attributes of CSA employees, and I would agree with that. Overall a great environment. Quick random note: it's difficult to quantify something like "vision," but if you get an opportunity to see the presentations on their planned growth trajectory, you'll understand why CSA is gonna be huge. There are moments when the senior management can be genuinely inspirational. (And I'm the kind of guy that's sensitive to cheesy presentations.)

Cons

This isn't a place where you should expect rewards for just "sticking around." CSA prizes loyalty AND hard work--an equal share of both. So if you want to advance your career, have great benefits packages (as mentioned in most of the reviews here), and make a good salary, this is the place for you. But if you plan on phoning it in, I'd keep looking.

Pros

CSA is like a small, hyper Ivy League college. My experience is that the company values workforce development and gives back to its own employees on a level that is truly unique. It makes sense, too - CSA's upward growth trajectory means opportunities for new leaders are rife, and they promote from within. Never before have I worked for a company for so short of a time and yet received the type of investment, both consultative and monetary, in my own professional development. If you have the desire to grow, and the willingness to put in the work on your own behalf, CSA will support you.

Cons

CSA can be a bit cliquey - there are those who've been there from the beginning (5-10 year employees) and there can be a bit of an "in crowd." I've felt that some (definitely not most) will take a newcomer as a threat and circle the wagons. This is the exception, however. There are so many opportunities to get engaged from community volunteering, to social hours, to industry events, that if you want to feel engaged all you have to do is get out there and participate. CSA welcomes and rewards outgoing personalities, so that can be a challenge if you are not naturally extroverted.
