Pros

CBA is a company focused on high-quality services as opposed to high-profit-margin services. They invest in themselves routinely via a structure that has administrative staff, intake coordinators, team leaders to assist in managing clinicians caseloads, questions and concerns, and billing practices, a supervision structure that is thorough and gets faded via measurable criterion as opposed to "feel", ever-changing company norms that take advantage of any new structure or procedure to improve our business model even up to pairing with a billing company to custom-design our own billing website and portal, and they are a company on the cutting edge of getting behavior analytic services into novel environments to reach any and every population imaginable. CBA is aspiring to maintain incfredibly high-wuality services, while expanding where it can deliver services to a large variety of consumers including more typical waiver services, insurance services, and private pay while also providing services by contract with intermediate care facilities, school districts, brain injury facilities, and a trademarked training called "RAPID" that can be administered to anyone aiming to be a "behavior change agent" including parents, direct care staff, professional staff, teachers, police officers, etc.

Cons

Changes. CBA is constantly aiming for the highest quality of services, therefore they are constantly tweaking and changing their company, their technologies, their company structure, etc. This company is ever-evolving and strengthening which is good but as an employee, it can be stressful to have ongoing changes that prevent you from acclimating to a "status quo". Billing software, employees, contacts for various issues, policies, procedures, anything can be changed if it improves the quality of services provided. That is great for quality but sometimes difficult for employees.

Pros

I began working at CBA as a Direct Support Professional, DSP, in 2015 while pursuing a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. While completing my coursework, CBA provided me with free supervision, so I could obtain the 1500 hours of supervision required by the BACB to sit for the BCBA exam after graduation. The supervision CBA provides is the BEST that anyone could ever offer, and many individuals would pay top dollar to receive. I not only received amazing supervision, I was also able to apply what I was learning during graduate school and during supervision while working as a DSP. After graduating graduate school, CBA offered me a position as a Behavior Support Specialist, along with continued supervision. During the past 3 years, CBA has provided me with so many amazing opportunities that have given me the skill sets needed to provide ABA services in a variety of settings (the community, in-home, clinics, and schools) and has taught me how to collaborate with caregivers and other fields of practice, which is essential when providing ABA services. CBA is an extremely compassionate company and always puts their clients and employees needs as top priority. CBA continues to provide me with support and assistance by working diligently, using a team approach, to better serve the community. CBA is rapidly growing as a provider/company and truly strives for the best. I am proud to work for such an amazing company.

Cons

Anytime there has been a "concern" arise, CBA works with the clinician to quickly resolve the issue.
