Pros

The company provides great trainings, great access to supervision, and fantastic health care and paid time off. The scheduling was flexible and I wasn’t micromanaged. co-workers, PD opportunities /and work culture is top notch.

Cons

e productivity was hard to meet, you’re expected to book 7 clients per day, if you’re working 40 hours a week. That’s a taxing amount of clients, and it’s also nearly impossible due to the inevitable no shows with this population, and a lack of cancellation policy. The pay was horrible, and looking back genuinely felt exploited for the pay rate I had, and the fact I was unable to keep up with the productivity despite booking clients, really made things unmanageable for myself. But co-workers, PD opportunities /and work culture is top notch.

Great for entry level staff

Pros

There used to be flexibility with your schedule and time off, but this disappeared with promotion of new admin

Cons

absurdly low compensation (rates did not change despite inflation), micro-management with upper level admin makes changes to programs they have no interest in or knowledge about, revolving door of new clinicians with poor training, salary for licensed vs non-licensed is inconsistent (told one amount and given another), promotion was provided to colleague when there was no known opportunity for promotion, called names by VP when very respectfully submitting resignation. overall, worst employment experience

CSO values its employees, and we offer industry-leading benefits and training as well as competitive salaries. Moreover, CSO is proud of our longstanding tradition of internal promotions. More than 70% of CSO’s current management was promoted from within the agency. CSO adheres to Board-approved policies for staff training, supervision, and promotion. We honor that process of career advancement, and we support interested employees throughout the process. As a trauma-informed agency, CSO is dedicated to inclusivity, equity, and the key values of trauma-informed care: empowerment, trustworthiness, collaboration, choice, and safety.

Pros

I loved the team I was on for several years.

Cons

COVID protocols for onsite programs were unsupportive and divisive with staff and clients. The pay became terrible for the work we all needed to do to keep everyone safe.
