Pros

Great perks: substantial gratis three times a year, beautiful christmas gift every year from Tiffany and Co. Training and classes are very thorough and leave you feeling very confident.

Cons

Sales goals can be a little demanding. The pressures to continuously increase sales are passed down along the chain of command and can be stressful at times.

Pros

The best education in the cosmetics industry. Clinique has dermatological roots that have been reinforced by giving consultants a comprehensive and ever evolving education. I wouldn't be the person I am today without this.

Cons

Having to work in certain retailers. To keep turn over low, a new hire should be given a reasonable hourly wage. In my experience, Clinique has been willing to offer this to their new hires, but the retailer has not always been willing to follow suit. This sometimes backfires, and the company looses a potentially great candidate.
