Pros

Lots of leads Costco jobs are easy to sell Great product

Cons

Outdated difficult to use software Terrible pay- no sick days, PTO, phone allowance, gas or mileage reimbursement. You get $10 for every job sold that is supposed to be for gas/ parking reimbursement but you only get that if you sell the job.

Pros

Make your own schedule and design spaces.

Cons

Not sure where to start. There is new management at least have owned for under a year. They seem to have not done much research and due dilagence when looking into the investment. Or they are just using previous owner as a scapegoat for their ignorance of what they are doing it like watching a train wreck. Closet Factory has a deal nationally with Costco but even that does not help those working there. Appointments are set and meetings happen but only after some training and little insintive to continue to drive all over the city. They do not help with travel expenses and provide basic benefits to employees. Working minimum wage somewhere else is better off than here. They chased all the experienced designers and original staff off by treating them poorly and not paying them for deals completed before they bought the franchise. It is sad that the corporate allows this poor treatment and it definately hurts the Closet Factory Brand with clients not getting completed closets after signing contracts pre turn over. Telling clients to dispute credit card payments made in order to cancel the contract previously signed during previous ownership is just unacceptable. The customer service is a disaster and continues to fail daily creating problems for unexperienced new hires to figure out so no wonder no one lasts long and the loss of brain trust of the tenored designes was the worst thing that could have happened to them. There are much better Jobs out there don't waste your time and effort on them because they don't invest anything into you why should you spend your time effort and gas money trying to make things happen when everything is working against you.
