Pros

* Chance to work as part of a smart, motivated team without having to move out of Austin * No jerks - team members are encouraging and happy to answer questions * Cloudflare builds things that genuinely impact the internet at scale * Austin office works on hard product and engineering problems; it's not just a satellite location * Onboarding is comprehensive and done in San Francisco, which gives you an opportunity to meet teams in other offices

* The organization is moving so fast to new challenges that it can be difficult to keep up

Pros

A great place to make an impact. The company is growing at quite a clip, and there are plenty of opportunities to stretch and develop. The culture is flat, transparent and encouraging. It is very result-focused with flexible work schedules and locations. Benefits are top notch and pay is competitive. My role here fulfills the modern career needs of autonomy, mastery, and purpose. Who doesn't want to help build a better internet?

Cons

As things grow, they don't always run perfectly. If you want a smoother ride, you may be better served elsewhere.

Great technology that customers buy

Cons

Terrible sales leadership. Way too much turnover in the sales org. Sales cycles are long but churn in org is crazy. Very unprofessional sale management begging for orders from partners and customers when not needed. Cash to quote process is a disaster makes it hard to respond to customers. Commission payout is 90 days out instead of 30 days like most. No 401k(wow). Only 10% of reps and managers are making their number. Strategic (Named) org is in chaos. Especially with new managers that are clueless with 0 security background. Way too much busy work for such small size deals (avg deal under $100k). HR hiring process is the worst in the industry by far and totally unprofessional with hiring process. Some people had 10+ interviews. Don’t recommend this place
