CoBank was a mixed environment

Pros

Beautiful office space, good benefits.

Cons

Top heavy with VPs, very hierarchical, backstabbing, wanting things to be perfect before moving forward on routine activities. Also environmentally unfriendly with copiers defaulting to color copies, single sided copies and cover pages on all print jobs, plastic bottles galore at every meeting. Even with purified water stations everywhere, everyone still drinking bottled water and other bottled beverages throughout the day.

Pros

Company mission and free parking.

Cons

No work-life balance; only care about management and not employees.

Thank you for your comments. It’s good to hear that you connect with our mission of supporting rural America. It is concerning to hear of any negative experience. At CoBank we take our associate’s work-life balance very seriously, including working remotely and flexible schedules. Associates also receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation, 10 paid holidays, and 10 days of sick leave annually. We would like to hear more about your experience, please reach out to your HR representative, your manager, any member of the leadership team or email Feedback@cobank.com.
