Pros

Good benefits. Good 401k match

vacation benefits start low. Leadership is burning out their employees. No raises this year, even though it was their most profitable year ever.

Thank you for submitting a review. CoBank is a financially strong, dependable, cooperative which means that the bank can provide a competitive benefits package, along with a great 401k match. Our success is shared with our associates, this past year, the bank did give our associates a generous corporate factor and bonus at the end of the year that was voted unanimously by the board. As for vacation time, our associates receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation, 10 paid holidays, and 10 days of sick leave annually, along with one paid day off each year to volunteer with eligible organizations. Vacation hours are accrued on a semi-monthly basis. If you’re having workload issues please speak with your direct manager.

Pros

I've been here a few months and I've probably asked the same questions 30+ times and all my bosses/coworkers are still very helpful. I'm learning a lot about customer service computer programs that seem like has a 100% carryover to pretty much every other CS job description for other jobs that are out there. At least when working from home, it is pretty laid back and you can get "back in the action" when you are ready - you aren't just being bombarded with calls the whole day. 95% of the people that call up to you are very friendly and patient when you are learning and the other 5% aren't that bad.

Cons

Maybe it's just the recruiting company that I work with, but I'm not getting paid at a rate to live comfortably where the job is located. - this is fine now, but when I have to start working at the office and move closer, it will be difficult. It's very repetitive and you just do the same things all day, you never see any growth really. - Maybe this is just life haha. Not sure if it's just the recruiting company I'm working for but the lowest priced health insurance package that I was offered was 25% of my take home pay which seemed ridiculous.
