*Awesome Benefits *No Weekends, which is rare for a call center *Descent pay *Descent job while you're looking for a real Job.

Cons

*You start through a disorganized Temp Agency *The good management left or was fired and The new management is un-professional, Rude and no one likes them. *There's a few good Team Managers *Stressful and you have to lie to get information from clients when you secret shop

Pros

The salary is great for a call centre The people are the greatest asset. Free tea and coffee, and fruit twice a week Central city office. Two well equiped kitchens, microwaves, fridges etc. The work has potential to be really rewarding. There's the opportunity to work abroad. Lots of fundraising for worthy charities

Cons

Management have a total lack of trust in their staff. They have an phenomenally talented pool of well qualified and well paid staff, but instead of allowing them to do what they do best, they micro manage and evaluate every aspect of your day. As a business our job is to provide CRE data, instead you spend all day trying to find 20 people to spend 90 seconds reading a script to (I know, it sounds easy!), Of course, a script makes sense for some interactions but NOT for every single one, and not every time you speak with your contact. Targets change frequently, and performance improvement and disciplinary action for not achieving is a constant threat. At a starting salary of £26k in the real world, most people understand that you might have to work extra hours. But, the moral is so low at the moment because unrealistic targets have been set meaning your whole day is about making calls, leaving no time to get on actually add value to our product. Your team and center manager aren't really interested in hearing feedback or suggestions which might go against what 'America' tell us to do.   An attitude of 'we pay you well so what's your problem?' - but no one is really interested in hearing what the problem is. If something doesn't work, it's because the staff didn't do it correctly.

Pros

Good Benefits, free snacks, that's it.

Cons

Terrible management, terrible internal communication. Unrealistic metric goals that change monthly. Turning into a call center when they tell you that it's only an hour a day on the phone. All they care about is how many calls you get even if it doesn't add value to the market. The office never closes even for terrible unsafe weather. You can't work from home which doesn't make sense, since you can do the job from anywhere. Don't recommend this job to anyone, doesn't give you any good skills to take to other jobs than phone experience.
