Pros

Decent starting salary, free trip for 1 month training, standard health insurance.

Cons

Literally everything. 3% max merit increases, 3% raises, no bonus. Toxic work culture, micro managed. Had to journal everything that was done each day on Teams.

Pros

- pay is decent if you are young and fresh out of school. Pay growth stops very quickly though

Cons

- metrics are awful and do not make sense - micromanagement to the MAX - no flexibility in work from home. have been mandated back to office since sept 2021 with absolutely no exceptions - no room to grow. when you get promoted you get promoted to research level 2... and your job is literally the exact same. this results in zero learning and development - CoStar always says they promote learning and development but that is not true. the only learning and development you are given is on CoStar products - job itself is super boring and annoying. the say "client relationship consultant" but in reality you are there to only make phone calls. it is a call center - executive leadership leads through fear, not mutual respect. they do not listen/care for their employees

Pros

Great benefits package. Big monitors. That's literally it.

Cons

Everything else. Insane levels of micromanagement. A downright sickening response to COVID where we were instructed to pound the phones and try to sell solutions harder than ever before. Zero outside tech is embraced. Internal, archaic CRM that looks like something you'd find on a Windows machine in the early 90's. If, like most people in 2021, you're looking to work on a Mac using modern day tools like Slack, Hubspot/Salesforce, or really anything that might actually help you be efficient, look elsewhere. This is not a modern company in any way, shape, or form. Outdated principles with even more outdated equipment and tools. If you like being chastised for not wearing a tie on Zoom calls in the middle of a pandemic, this is the place to be. When I look back on my time at this company, it sends shivers down my spine. Outside of a couple friendships you may develop, it has zero redeeming qualities. I'm giving the compensations & benefits 3 stars because the benefits package is great but the base pay and OTE is very poor.
