Pros

Pay is OK at first. The benefits are decent. No micromanagement. Work and quality of life are largely dependent on the contract you're on. If you're a sub to another company there is next to no oversight from Coalfire. This is good and bad. It is nice to not be micromanaged, but there is NO incentive to be a superstar on your team as your manager won't know about it.

Cons

Raises are terrible; in their most profitable year pay increases didn't match inflation. And the 'unlimited' vacation time is baloney. The federal side is a little calmer, but commercial gets all the hype. The two sides are pretty much separate companies now. There's no clear way to move around or up in the company.
