Pros

The local branches are great, full of wonderful hard working people dedicated to the brands.

Cons

This company ahs no idea of work life balance even though they will tell you over and over the do. The require a 10hour work day but the work load they put on everyone from the sales staff, DMs and ASMs requires 12-13hours a day to complete. They throw a lot of nice "benefits" to the employees like a chaplain and ice cream in the office however it appears these are just to try to brush the bigger employee engagement and happiness issues under the rug. SOme managers were promoted and have ABSOLUTLY NO industry or sales knowledge yet they have been elevated to high management levels. They throw 30 things at the sales team at a time and expect them to execute all perfectly while taking services away from the customers

Pros

Market leading brands, and that's about all.

Cons

Extremely long hours, pay on the low end of being competitive, benefits are more expensive than at other companies for less coverage.

Only if you're desperate

Pros

You get the chance to interact with different people all day within the stores. You travel from one stop to the next, and are generally free to plan your route order at your discretion. If you don't like sitting in one place all day or working from an office, this is great/

Cons

First, let's start by saying this position will likely be non-existent within the next couple of years, as many stores will adopt automated/store level ordering. Moving on, you will work OVER 10 hours in one day often, especially during holiday weeks-management will not help and will not bat an eye. The expectation is a MINIMUM 10 hours/day. There is no such thing as work-life balance. You will miss many important events if they occur during a weekday evening. Your vacations are scheduled as a team and only one person can be off at a time- so if you have date in mind forget about it. Also, I hope you like being micromanaged-your boss can pull up your GPS tracking, times you're in accounts, what you are/aren't sending into stores, you name it they can see it. You are treated like a child and given no room to breathe and perform as a capable, experienced account manager, and are constantly questioned on every little thing. And please, don't forget to bring your crystal ball to work with you EVERYDAY! God forbid you run an out of stock-especially in a Walmart. I've never understood how this company cannot fathom that the Account Managers are not psychic? All-in-all, I wouldn't recommend this job or company to anyone-unless somehow your current job sucks way worse than this, you enjoy being miserable and treated poorly, or you're really that desperate. And please read the other reviews-because from what I remember, many people agree with all the above statements plus more!
