Pros

I’ve been with this company for over 10 years. What I love the most are the people I work with, and the varieties of work they give me. I enjoy what I do here. If you have ambition, they can give you opportunities to advance in your career.

Cons

Since most employees want to advance with their careers, it’s a challenge to find a designer that will not aspire to be an engineer.

Advancement opportunities and ambition as a con! That's awesome. I understand the inconvenience that is imposed when people advance their careers. The rest of the team has a hole to fill. This should be everyone's ambition, that when they vacate a position it causes great inconvenience because of the value they provided in their old role. These comments are confidential, but I can theorize who you are talking about. And we are super proud of him! Thanks for the feedback. Dave Ruff - CEO/President

Pros

Trying to keep small company values alive during growth, somewhat flexible with schedule and work/life balance, a reasonable amount of management, competitive compensation, a decent amount of personal latitude, company is doing well

Cons

Benefits are only so so, management doesn't receive much training - not too good on soft skills, career growth almost impossible after a certain number of years of service due to limited number of management/administration positions.

Healthy things grow. But growth can make you unhealthy if not managed well. We can't lose our focus; health first, growth follows. One of the reasons to grow is to create opportunity to accommodate your career objectives. Looks like we have some more work to do on the soft skills side of management. Not surprising, as we are engineers. But even us engineers can grow in this area of life, and figure out how to turn the nerd off and lead with empathy. Thanks for the feedback and for being on our team for so many years. Dave Ruff - CEO/President

Pros

Super Friendly Management. They let you do your job and support employees. They foster a fun work environment and really believe in the well being and happiness of the employees. Decent Salary and Benefits. The company wants to do their very best for clients, which is a nice goal to have every day. Fun coworkers, seriously some of the best I have had.

Cons

Have to keep up with a lot of changes constantly going on. This is a good sized company so there are many programs and details to learn and adapt to. Not really a Con, just a challenge with the amount of time you have sometimes.

We will keep up the great work. Thanks for the encouragement. You joined us as we are in the last stages of right sizing our systems and tools for our current size/breadth. Certainly some growing pains, but we are almost through it. We have one more big adjustment as we implement a new project management and accounting system. Hang in there. Smoother sailing in the near future. Appreciate you. Dave Ruff - CEO/President
