      Pros

      - There are usually onsite opportunities for the deserving employees - No record of hire and fire - Enough(some times too many) chances given to low performers

      Cons

      - Salary is below market standards - Variable salary is just on paper in most cases - Limited growth opportunities for employees - Overall employee motivation levels are low resulting in a negative vibe at most places

      Learning a lot but. . .

      Pros

      As a bootcamp trainee, I found its quite a nice training experience. I am assigned to .Net technology and our trainer is awsome and very experienced. Learning a lot through this training. Hope to get further good opportunities and projects.

      Cons

      Its quite a long days now still feeling student like. And the salary is also not that cool! Hope an increment in near future.

      Taking the good with the bad

      Pros

      Great benefits, where most companies make you pay a tremendous amount of money to have medical, dental, and vision for your family but NIIT has a good deal with BCBS. Raises are okay, not bad but okay. As long as you work and show productivity you will get one. If you do work for this company you want to find a good LEADER and stick with that person. Unless you are snake then you will do well with the mid-management ranks.

      Cons

      "Too many chiefs not enough indians" almost everybody wants to be the boss but don't want to take the responsibility if something goes wrong. Too many people are trying to take credit on work they had nothing to do with. Not enough "leaders", they have a crap load of "supervisors" but no leadership present in mid-management ranks. Backstabbing is something common for this company. I have a mid-manager that seems to thrive on this. As if he was watching a cage fight or gladiatorial games (a little too dramatic I know).
