I have worked here for over 5 years and truly look forward to my interactions on a daily basis with the residents as well as the staff here at FVV. Our campus was recently remodeled and has a fresh new open layout with many new finishes, furniture and equipment.

Cons

Was a long drive for me initially living in Glendale. I moved a lot closer 3 years ago!!!!

Wonderful residents, Toxic Environment

Pros

Connecting with the residents and hearing all of their stories was an amazing opportunity. Also, learning to serve as a first job in high school was great, especially in such a consistent environment (lots of regulars!). Paid relatively well, usually at least $1-$2 over minimum wage, plus more if lead server or bartender.

Cons

There was minimal support from the dining services management, repeated sexual harassment to myself and countless other HIGH SCHOOL girls, and zero accountability to the responsible parties. I was overworked (serving, dishwashing, and cooking in the same shift), sexually harassed, and fired for reporting the harassment. That being said, I know there was a company buyout and I am unsure of how many upper management are still there after the switch.

They refused to take Medicaid, which makes it tough in the slow times to maintain census.
