      Pros

      It's a good place to get the public experience that you need. Background is extensive and varied.

      Cons

      Very political and tons of favortism. Just get your experience and leave...unless they like you, then you might have a shot.

      Pros

      good benefits to employees, lots of internal events, associates work well together- interesting opportunities if you can find them

      Cons

      unless you befriend a manager or senior manager with good contracts, you will not be put on something you want to work on; pay is low comparable to other firms; many managers do not do work throughout the day but harp on associates about being a few minutes late; most of decisions are behind closed doors so associates never know whats going on, managers are on different pages as to what work an associate is meant to be working on

      Pros

      Great co-workers, abundant vacation time to offset seasonal work schedule, fair compensation and commitment to improving work / life balance whenever possible. Good position for coming out of school however my experiences were mostly contingent upon who I worked with.

      Cons

      Long hours during busy season and focus on few core industries. Career opportunities and advancement become more competitive after a few years.
