      Good place to start your career

      Pros

      Great people, lax atmosphere, upper management is very involved, you get to see a project from beginning to end, concerned with your well being, want to help better you as a person and employee

      Cons

      It's accounting/audit let's be real there's nothing too exciting about this job, except for the people you work with and for. The people are what keeps me here. I'd say a little less than half the time I enjoy working on the specific project I'm on.

      Pros

      Good pay, flexible hours, great people to work with, well known and more prestigious. As with every public accounting firm, the fight is always the long hours vs the good pay. However, here, at least you're not working until 12am like as in the big four. And honestly you're learning and doing the same thing, just on smaller companies.

      Pros

      people are friendly enough. Steady work through out the year. Overtime pay for some of the year.

      Cons

      No opportunity to grow as an assistant. I asked numerous times for other assignments /to take on more challenging work only to be told I wouldn't have time or that my manager didn't think I would like the work. Very basic assistant work - filing, expense reports, letter writing, etc. Told during my 2nd year review (which was very good) that after his raise, I shouldn't expect a raise the next year as I was at the top of the pay scale. Talk about unmotivating! Atlanta and Bethesda offices don't communicate or support smaller offices.
