      Pros

      I worked in the Bethesda, MD office for a little over 2 years. I started right out of school and it was an easy transition. Obviously the busy season is rough but not nearly as bad as some other places, especially big 4. They also prepare you very well for the job and what you can expect. The people I worked with for the most part were great. After my first tax season, they took into consideration things that I said and people who were difficult to work with. They make an effort to mold employees and it's clear that you can continually move up in the company.

      Cons

      I know not all offices are like the one I worked at and I've heard many other negative things about some of the audit teams. They are definitely stingy raises and bonuses and they do not provide the same level of benefits (cars home on late nights, meals when out of the office, etc.) that other firms do. That being said, the benefits they offer are much better overall than other places I have worked.
