      Awesome alternative to big 4!

      Pros

      Great alternative to Big 4. Busy season hours are far less demanding than Big 4 but with more diversified experience. Work life balance is a reality instead of just being a buzz words. Offers much of the same experiences you can get a t big 4 without the feeling of being just a number. Atmosphere has a family feel and people generally seem happy to be at work. Firm "Fun Committee" actually does fun things instead of making you attend various events after work, further cutting into your personal time.

      Cons

      Firm is still in transition while it tries to iron out inconsistencies created by the merger. Certain partners still want to keep things the way they were instead of moving forward for the better of the firm as a whole.

      -Great group of positive people -Efforts by the "Fun" Committee to enhance employee's experience -Decent work/life balance -Casual dress -Decent vacation compensation -Great CEO that wants the best for the firm.

      Cons

      -Barely bonuses, if anything they're typically under $1,000 -Lack of performance bonuses for people working levels ahead of their physical title -No 401K Match -Starting to become Big4 minded without the Big4 benefits -Some challenging senior managers -Yearly layoffs after busy season with no warning -Busy season can be brutal
