      Favoritism is HUGE. You could be in trouble If you didn’t have connection coming in. Tax busy season is twice a year they say, but it’s really full year commitment!! Don’t get fooled. Maybe Christmas is your best chance to get some rest.

      Some very nice people amongst the whole

      Inept senior leadership; lack of quality partner level talent with a few exceptions; whole place is a scam to allow a select few to make a lot of money at the expense of their partners and capital investment; most commonly heard phrase when business is sought from anything more than a local small business is: "why would they hire us?"; firm does NOT aspire to be bigger, and anyone with Big Four on their resume is very quickly told: "we're not the big four!". This place is where tired accountants go to laze away, and where ambitions go to die.

      No bonus, no 401k match, massive layoffs

      Pros

      The only Pro is the 30 days PTO for managers. Everything else is just like any other public accounting firm.

      Cons

      Massive layoff in 2017, There is no 401k match or bonus, poor management, lots of ready to retire partners. Company is struggling financially.
