Pros

I felt the company truly cared about the children they served and demonstrated ethical practices. They also tried to create a positive work environment that honored employees time and was flexible when possible for those with families.

Cons

At times things felt disorganized and there were some employees who demonstrated unprofessional behavior that affected those around them. This never seemed to be addressed. They also did not always value the work of those in the office which affected the ability of the therapist to do their jobs well. It was often difficult to get basic supplies needed for sessions. Things may have changed since I worked there in 2018 though.

As our organization has grown, we have continued to implement more structured processes, leadership training, and communication channels to better support both clinicians and administrative teams. Ensuring therapists have the resources they need to do their best work is extremely important to us, and we are always evaluating ways to improve these systems. A lot of positive changes have occurred since 2018 and we still strive for positive work environments and have the patient-first mentality. Pros

Other therapists, interdisciplinary collaboration, the kiddos/families, lots of materials

Cons

Management is disorganized, low professionalism with management, management plays favorites, terrible sick policy for patients, lacks ADA compliance for accommodations, administration lacks training, poor communication, low pay with no room for growth, does not allow clinicians to miss days for illness, high turnover, no paid breaks or documentation time (promised upon hire)
